Joy Refined Organics' founder and director Boitumelo's journey began with a deeply personal challenge - living with scalp psoriasis.  I was either left dealing with the unpleasant odour of tar-based products or struggling with the excessive oiliness of other treatments. The experience was both physically uncomfortable and emotionally draining. The options available on the market were far from satisfactory I was caught in a relentless cycle of trying to meet conventional beauty standards while attempting to manage my scalp's health, often at the expense of the latter. It was this frustration that set me on a path of extensive research into natural and organic alternatives.

What I discovered was a world of potent, yet gentle, ingredients provided by nature itself. These findings were not just a revelation; they were a call to action. I realised that if I was in search of kinder, more effective solutions, there were undoubtedly others out there feeling the same way.
